Our Global Charting Services team uses complex Geographical Information System databases (GIS) which create charts from hydrographic and seabed feature information, combined with up-to-date cable route data for detailed data analysis and planning.
Using GeoCable, our bespoke GIS for the cable industry, we offer a complete Charting, GIS and Cable Record Management service.
Cable Record ManagementWe collect data throughout the installation stage of every project and this data remains in a state of flux, with several changes over the project's life. The value of any installation record lies in the integrity of that data and it is vital that they are kept up to date and reflect these changes.
We offer a complete records management service which ensures that records are updated in an accurate and timely manner. This removes the burden of records management from our customers, allowing them to concentrate on their core business.

GeoCable
Global Marine's GeoCable software product is an industry leading Geographical Information System (GIS) developed by the Global Charting Services team specifically to meet the needs of the cable industry.
GeoCable is available to buy as an off-the-shelf package or as a bespoke solution designed to meet individual customer needs. The package includes:

- Quick access to over 1.8 million km of as laid cable data, enough cable to circle the globe 46 times
