Depots

Global Marine has five depots, strategically located around the world to meet the needs of our global customer base. The depots are at Portland in the UK, Victoria in Canada, Batangas in the Philippines, Batam in Indonesia, and on the islands of Bermuda in the Atlantic Ocean. Each depot services and supplies our vessels with fresh water, cable transfers, jointing kits, repeaters, and fuel.

At Portland, for example, the depot has an array of state-of-the-art equipment and a team of highly skilled people who provide world-renowned cable operation services. These services include the testing of repeaters and the maintenance of our ROVs, ploughs, grapnels and other sophisticated deep burial equipment. It's also where a substantial amount of telecommunications cables are stored on behalf our customers, and it's the permanent home of two of our ships.
