Quick and easy access to cable route and subsea features data is essential when conducting any marine cable operation. This reduces planning time and helps to ensure that costly mistakes do not occur at sea.

The GeoCable™ Geographical Information System (GIS) has been designed to assist the telecommunications industry at all stages of submarine cable operations. As the most extensive subsea cable database available, current and historic data have been combined to enhance the management of route planning, cable installation, maintenance and route clearance operations.

GeoCable™ provides a simple interface to integrate world leading GeoMedia GIS software with worldwide submarine cable data, bathymetry and navigation charts. GeoCable™ can be used to display project specific information from survey and installation operations combined with proprietary data such as maritime boundaries and seismic activity.

GeoCable™ is the most comprehensive cable database available. We hold over 150 years worth of cable route data within the software, from the earliest telegraph cable to the most recent fibre optic installations.

Ten years of development combined with extensive customer feedback have created a unique product that specifically targets the needs of the submarine cable industry. The software is based on Intergraph’s GeoMediaTM a world leading and fully supported GIS product.

THE SERVICE WE OFFER
