Offshore Liaison

Global Marine Systems Offshore Liaison service promotes and facilitates channels of communication between its customer base of cable system owners, other subsea users, and applicable government agencies to encourage an honest and open dialogue between all subsea users. We also promote the awareness of subsea assets, predominately cables, on behalf of the asset owners, including in country visits to relevant agencies and associations.

We do this by producing cable awareness charts, managing crossing agreements, offering a dedicated emergency response number and also post incident investigation work to assist in identifying the party who caused the cable damage via tools such as AIS.

We understand the historical and commercial rights of all subsea users and through awareness campaigns and dialogue with fishermen and other marine bodies; Global Marine Systems promotes the safe and effective use of the seabed for all users.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Detailed knowledge of the cable installation industry.
  • Access to the largest cable database (GeoCable™) in the market.
