Ian Gaitch - Director Global Marine Energy
 

Ian Gaitch is the Director of Global Marine Energy.  He is responsible for the development and direction of the new energy focused business unit, which serves the Renewable Energy, Power Cable Interconnection and Oil & Gas markets.

Ian is a long serving employee of Global Marine Systems, including 11 years spend onboard the company’s installation and maintenance vessels.

Ian has since gained a wealth of commercial and project experience, which gives him a unique understanding of the Subsea Cable Installation market.

Since leaving the Fleet, Ian has held various positions within Global Marine as follows:

  • August 2008 to Present – Director, Global Marine Energy
  • April 2005 to August 2008 – Sales Manager, Offshore Renewable & Power Markets
  • December 2002 to April 2005 – Product Manager, Installation & Government Services
  • October 2000 to December 2002 – Manager, Installation Projects
  • June 1995 to October 2000 – Senior Project Manager
  • June 1986 to June 1995 – Seagoing experience culminating in serving as Captain
