John Tollady
 

Captain John Tollady began his career as a 3rd Officer aboard the C.S. Mercury for Cable and Wireless in 1983.

He has carried out numerous cable repairs and installations and has been involved in a variety of projects involving wind farms, shore ends and route surveys as well as secondments to Head Office.

Most recently, John commanded the C.S. Cable Innovator during the SWECOMEX installation project in the Campeche oil field in the Gulf of Mexico followed by the TPE cable installation laying over 5,500 Km of cable from Oregon, USA towards China.

Originally from Birkenhead, John has lived in the Lake District for over 20 years and has three children.
