ROV Training

As an operator of more than 20 submersible systems, Global Marine Systems Limited has the training facilities and equipment to support its offshore personnel. Global Marine Subsea Training, offer IMCA aligned ROV training courses for new entrants into the industry as well as a certificate of competency scheme, and further training and development courses that takes new entrant ROV Pilot Technicians through to ROV Supervisors.

Global Marine set about establishing a Subsea Training division to instruct new and existing personnel in both the Oil & Gas and Cable Burial Industries. The ocean-going subsea equipment in their Portland Depot gives trainees the chance to interact and become familiar with major equipment suppliers. In addition, Global Marine has invested in a dedicated Sea Eye Falcon, Trojan Work Class ROV and Open Frame Sprint to give students that 'hands on' experience. Also available is a simulator for computer based training and scenario modelling.

All courses are designed to complete the standard set of competencies; additionally each element of the training can be modified or customized to meet specific customer requirements.
