Installing a submarine cable is complex and time consuming. It uses a range of disciplines and skills, which vary from project to project. Yet the over-riding requirements are for cable working expertise and outstanding project management ability.

Global Marine has the experience, ability, tools and knowledge to perform cable work, burial, intervention, and protection works within the 500m zone of offshore installations, as well as deep water burial, recovery and maintenance.
We are equally at home in deep water as in the shallows and we have a wide range of specialist equipment and highly trained teams, a fleet of ocean-going Cable Ships with ROVs fit for every purpose and our strategically located support depots to complement our offering.
We use state-of-the-art methods to protect cables that lie on the seabed, including Uraduct, Spiral Wrap, Split or Arctic Pipe, and mattressing.
Our experience in installing and burying subsea cables spans both the telecoms sector, with fibre optic cables, and beyond, including power cables and seismic cables, and we have unrivalled experience working on offshore wind farms.
In all these areas, Global Marine's track record is second to none.
