There can be numerous major or minor activities and operations that suddenly need to be performed on a submarine power, telecoms or other cable. We have the equipment, experience, and ability to carry them out during the course of your project with the minimum of interruption. Equally there may be a unique occurrence where a new customer's cable or other submarine object requires repair, investigation or other treatment. In every circumstance, we are able to support such enquiries and bring the right solution to bear on what may otherwise obstruct the day-to-day core business of our customers.

Protecting expensive fibre optic and other cables takes specialist tools and knowledge. When the terrain on the seabed is soft or the depth of the water shallow, we will recommend that a trench is dug in which to lay that section of cable. This will afford it the best protection possible within that particular environment.
To do this we select one of our Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) best suited to the task, and choose the best team for the job. Generally we recommend a simultaneous operation to dig the trench and lay the cable to minimise time, costs and also damage to the cable. Subsea trenching is always time-sensitive and highly skilled and we take great care to perform it properly, with properly trained people equipped with the right tools for this demanding and essential job.
