Global Marine announces New Business Manager for Renewable and Power Markets

Change allows for the continued focus in key markets

Chelmsford UK: Global Marine Systems Limited has appointed Ian Gaitch as Business Manager, Renewable and Power Markets. Ian has extensive operational and business development experience with Global Marine in the offshore cable sector. Formerly, the Installation Manager for all projects in the European, African and Middle East regions, he was involved in the successful construction of the Horns Rev offshore wind farm in 2002. Ian will be available to meet with customers at the 27th Annual British Wind Energy Association Conference from 18-20th October at the Cardiff International Arena.

Ian will be replacing Mike Prowse, who is joining A2SEA UK Ltd, in October 2005. A2SEA focuses on the construction of offshore wind farms.
