Global Marine and Huawei Technologies jointly announce on co-operation within the submarine telecommunications market

Partnership will blend terrestrial and subsea technology - will provide customers a better alternative to decrease physical footprint and expand capabilities ofnetworks

Chelmsford, UK/Shenzhen, China:  Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., a leader in providing next generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, and Global Marine Systems Limited, the independent market-leading subsea cable installation and maintenance company, today announced a partnership to jointly develop a new generation of end-to-end submarine networking solutions.

The combination of Huawei’s optical solutions and Global Marine’s subsea repeaters and submarine engineering will give submarine network developers and operators a strong alternative that does not compromise capability, security or quality.
