Chris Neave

Captain Chris Neave started his career in the Merchant Navy as a deck cadet in 1973.  He joined British Telecom Marine in 1987 and since then has enjoyed continuous service with Global Marine Systems since then.

He has been involved in various cable installations Cantat, Pencan, Rioja and numerous sections of Flag.  Also included were installations of shorter systems in the North Sea, Irish Sea, Mediterranean, plus Brazil and Venezuela.

He is presently serving at Portland on the CS Sovereign and has assisted in its transition to a successful multi-role Class 2 DP vessel.

He has varied interests including, golf, tennis, sailing, motorboats, motorbikes, classic cars and snorkelling, luckily all of which he can indulge as he resides in the Philippines.
