John Tollady

Captain John Tollady began his career as a 3rd Officer aboard the Mercury for Cable and Wireless (Marine) in 1983.

He has carried out numerous cable repairs and been involved in a variety of projects involving lays and wind farms as well as secondments to Head Office.

John completed the 5,000Km installation of the TPE cable system across the North Pacific on the C.S. Cable Innovator and most recently he commanded the Wave Mercury on Yokohama Zone maintenance from the Shangahi base.

John has three children in University and lives in Birkenhead.
