Nicola Broom
Nicola Broom is Managing Director of the Global Marine Energy Business Unit. Her remit is to develop and manage all aspects of subsea power cable and associated infrastructure for the offshore wind and energy transmission markets. The Energy Business Unit has a global remit but is initially focussed on the Subsea power cable installation and maintenance market in and around the UK and Europe.
She has been with the company since 1998 and has held a number of senior positions including Corporate Development Director, responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities including negotiating the Huawei Marine Networks Joint Venture and Business Systems Director, with responsibility for ensuring robust systems and procedures were implemented across key functions including Solution Design, Costing, Procurement and RQHSE.
Prior to joining Global Marine, Nicola worked for M&S Food, Ingersoll Rand and JCB. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration as well as a MBA.
