John Golding is Company Security Officer and Designated Person Ashore for Safety at Global Marine, which means he is responsible for the company's fleet of ships, their masters and commanders, officers and crew. As Operations Director John also manages Human Resources and Training; his focus is on how we can best develop our people and meet everyday personnel needs.
After working on ships for 20 years he came ashore in 1999 and since joining Global Marine John has implemented a number of successful initiatives including a fleet security plan, which resulted in Global Marine having the first British flag vessel with an International ship security certificate.
